This short course is composed of two nationally recognised units of study to provide you with the skills to record and collate summaries of the financial transactions of a business or other organisation for payroll purposes.

The Manage and Process Payroll - Short Course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to:

  • Maintain financial journal systems
  • Preparebank reconciliations
  • Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable systems
  • Process payments for accounts payable
  • Prepare statements for accounts receivable
  • Follow up outstanding accounts

Upon successful completion of these two units of competency you will receive a Statement of Attainment for part of the industry qualification in Certificate III in Business Administration (BSB30407).

This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records, including processing payments to creditors and handling overdue accounts receivable..
