Refresher Courses And Advanced Hairdressing Seminars

We can design programs to suit your needs. If you have been out of the hairdressing industry for a time & need to update your skills or improve your speed & confidence, we can help you. If, on the other hand, you are already a senior hairdresser and want to upgrade or learn new skills we’re here to help too.

These industry-based courses are not Nationally Recognised Training, however if you wish to receive recognition for the units of competency you complete please discuss this with our Director.
Foreign residents may apply to undertake refresher courses or advanced seminars up to three months in duration. No student visa is required. Applications from group tours are invited.   Prices vary depending on your requirements.

One Day Workshop  $150 - $195 depending on subject

One day seminars are available at both Brisbane and Gold Coast on a regular basis.  Subjects covered include perming, sculpting, colour work, upstyles etc.  One day seminars are suitable to hairdressers who wish to re-enter the industry as well as stylists who are currently in the industry and wish to attend an advanced session.

One Week Workshop $655

One-week seminars are designed for refresher students who have only recently left the industry.  Students normally do two days theory and three days practical work. Up to date fashion techniques are covered.

Six Week Workshop   $1595

Our six week program is designed for hairdressers who have been out of the industry for a long period of time.  Both theory and practical is combined throughout the six weeks.  Confidence building and speed are concentrated on.  It is very important that you visit the school prior to doing this course so we can design a program just for you.

One Month Make-Up Artists Styling Course  $1995

This one month course is specially tailored for make-up artists already practising in the beauty, media and movie industries who desire hair-styling skills to create the total look for their clients.

Three Month Seminars   $3200

This course also incorporated intensive theory and practical work.  It is mainly designed for hairdressers who feel they need to cover all basic work again.  Communication Skills are covered, Confidence Building, Speed and Accuracy as well as Sculpting, Perming, Colouring etc.  Again this course is designed to suit the individual.
