Duration for trainingThe duration of a course depends greatly on you, the time you have to dedicate to the learning activities and assessments and the timeframe in which you want to complete the course. All courses do have a maximum timeframe in which they need to be competed, however the minimum is set by you.
Competency Based Training & AssessmentParticipants enrolled in training leading to either a statement of attainment or certificate are required to complete assessments to demonstrate competency.
Competency based assessment is the process of gathering evidence to confirm that participants can perform required skills and knowledge.
Assessments undertaken may include:- Completion of case studies and similar activities
- Development of a portfolio
Participants will be given feedback on all assessment activities. Competency based assessment does not use a marking scale rather the participant is deemed competent or not yet competent.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Recognition of Prior Learning is the process of formal recognition for skills and knowledge gained through previous learning such as:
