The Master Fitness Trainer combines two nationally accredited qualifications necessary for registration at Fitness Australia as a personal trainer:
1.    The Certificate III of Fitness (Fitness Instructor)
2.    The Certificate IV of Fitness (Personal Trainer)
This course is delivered by Learn Australia (RTO 91165)

Graduate students will be able to register with Fitness Australia, who is the leading association body for fitness professionals. Registration with Fitness Australia is the benchmark for fitness industry standards across Australia.

Course Involves:
10 x modules with 10 assignments
2 x Case Studies (involving 3 individuals)
2 x Practical placements which can be combined (2 x 20 hours or 1 x 40 hours)

Pre-requisite - none
Structure is a combination of the above CERT III and CERT IV.

Completion Requirements

To successfully complete this program and receive your qualification students must meet the following five requirements:
1.    Complete all projects and assessments for the course.
2.    Undertake 40 hours of practical at an approved fitness centre (under the supervision of a reputable instructor).
3.    Obtain a current First Aid Certificate that includes resuscitation.

How can I become a personal trainer?
Personal Trainers require two government accredited qualifications - the Certificate III of Fitness and the Certificate and IV of Fitness. With these two qualifications you are then able to gain membership with the leading fitness association - Fitness Australia. By completing the Master Fitness Trainer program, you will obtain theses two qualifications simultaneously.

How long does the program usually take?
This will depend on you and your other commitments. Some students decide to fast track their course in 10 weeks. Others take their time to suit their other commitments.
