With the importance of good nutrition being exposed in the media through shows like Jamie Oliver’s Kitchen and the Biggest Loser, nutrition has become a hot topic for all clients.
This short course gives the personal trainer access to the most up to date information about nutrition, dietary habits of clients and current food trends.
The course teaches the gym instructor or personal trainer how food and exercise work holistically in order to help achieve a client’s goals, no matter what they may be. Specifically, energy expenditure, metabolic rates and nutrition for improved sports performance are all discussed in this course.
Aimed at those in the fitness industry, the short course on Nutrition for Fitness offers the skills and knowledge to propose basic information about healthy eating and nutrition to clients of all backgrounds.

The course is delivered online, inclusive of all assessments.
The duration of this course is 3 months, including assessment. A statement of attainment will be issued upon successful completion.
