Certificate III in Aged Care Work is a nationally recognised course that allows you to be a care provider within a residential setting and within the community.

Basic literacy and numeracy skills and a genuine interest in caring for an older person. COMPETENCIES
Course consists of 13 competencies. Units cover a range of topics, including Occupational Health & Safety, Communication, Provide Personal Care and Support to an Older Person and Dementia Care Support.
This course includes a period of placement in industry for experience.

RECOGNITION OF EXISTING SKILLS
When you apply to train at TAFE Tasmania you can ask for recognition of previous VET in schools, work or study experience. This is called Recognition of Current Competencies (RCC) or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). FEES - INVEST IN YOUR FUTURE
